A single room studio with mezzanine floor.

We constructed this timber frame and block studio for a client in Devon, beginning by laying new drainage and footings and pouring a new concrete slab. We then demolished a section of the original boundary wall which needed to be rebuilt as it was leaning out into the road. With the rebuild complete, the customer was over the moon with the quality of the new stonework, and the way the new section blended seamlessly into the remainder of the original wall.

After refurbishing the boundary wall, we built the 10-foot block wall which would become the back of the building and then constructed the rest of the studio in timber frame, finishing it with beautiful larch cladding and a slate roof. The wood-framed windows were reclaimed by the client from another property and fitted by our team.
